According to the market news in Taiwan, many of the domestic stainless steel dealers decided to suspend quoting the new prices, because of the skyrocket nickel price on the London Metal Exchange (LME) on September 9th.

On the LME, the nickel price achieved US$20,000/ton on September 9th, which caused many buyers to place orders in advance.

Currently, some of the market participants choose to watch and see until the Moon Festival holiday, further observe the future trend of nickel price.
