Taiwan’s stainless steel flat-rolled products imports decrease in Apr

In April, Taiwan’s stainless steel flat-rolled products imports totaled about 88,000 tons, decreasing by 4.2% compared to March and declining by 4.8% year on year. In the first four months of this year, the imports amounted to about 343,000 tons, increasing by 4.86% from the corresponding period a year ago.

Among them, the imports from Indonesia and China were about 252,000 tons and about 54,000 tons, respectively. Besides, the imports of hot-rolled products and cold-rolled products accounted for 314,000 tons and 28,000 tons, respectively, of total stainless steel flat-rolled products imports.
