To be in line with the actual market condition, Taiwan's stainless steel upstream manufacturers decided to announce their new prices for February at the end of January, after the Chinese New Year holiday.

The Chinese New Year holiday begins from January 20 to January 29, and work will resume on January 30.

Currently, the LME nickel price fluctuated a lot and there are many uncertain factors. The raw material price remains high and stock from downstream customers is lower. Therefore, it was expected that Taiwan's stainless steel upstream manufacturers might not decrease prices for February.
