Taiwanese upstream stainless steel mills may be inclined to announce their new rate after the Lunar New Year. However, regardless of price announcements before or after the long holiday, upstream and downstream manufacturers hoped that prices could stabilize and sales would pick up.

Some mills believed that the current domestic and export sales situation is not very good. Although LME Nickel prices rebounded and China's stainless steel prices were boosted by bullish policies, overall actual demand was lukewarm, and there are still many variables in the US President's trade policy.

Market participants considered that prices will not fluctuate much in the short term, coupled with price competition from imports, it will be difficult to raise circulation prices.
