Tang Eng Iron Works Co., Ltd., one of Taiwan's main stainless steel manufacturers, announced its new prices for July. The base price for its main product, 304 hot-rolled and cold-rolled stainless steel, will remain unchanged, with prices negotiated individually with customers. It is a similar strategy of the other stainless steel major, Yieh United Steel Corp. (Yusco).

For other products, Tang Eng increased the surcharge for 316L stainless steel by NT$1,000/ton. Prices for 430 stainless steel will hold steady.
