Walsin Lihwa, a stainless steel wire rod and cable producer in Taiwan, decided to adopt an individual negotiation approach for the prices of stainless steel wire rod in August.
The company stated that typhoon Gaemi caused flooding at its Yenshui plant in Taiwan, leading to a two-week suspension of production for equipment maintenance. This has affected delivery schedules, and the company is currently focused on fulfilling the shipping requirements of existing customer orders.
