Taiwan’s stainless steel manufacturer YC INOX has launched a US$383 million investment in Kocaeli, Turkey. Production at the Dilovası Machinery Specialized Organized Industrial Zone began in 2022, featuring three production facilities. This achievement, the company's first large-scale investment outside Taiwan, is to contribute to both the Turkish and global export markets.

The 100,000-square-meter complex includes pipe factories and a steel service center, with a projected monthly capacity of 8,000 tons of stainless flat and long products.

YC INOX TR General Manager Utku Aksoy said the facility, entirely self-funded, possesses Turkey's sole pickling line and numerous international certifications. The operation currently employs 300 people, with plans to reach 400, exporting to more than 20 countries.
