Tata Steel is aiming to produce 10 to 15 million tons of steel through recycling in the next 10 to 15 years, according to CEO and MD T.V. Narendran. This move aligns with the company's shift from linear to circular manufacturing.

In the fiscal year of 2025, Tata Steel produced about 30.92 million tons of steel out of its 35 million tons capacity across India, the UK, the Netherlands, and Thailand. The company plans to scale up its Indian capacity to 40 million tons by 2030. In Europe, Tata Steel aims to eliminate all blast furnace operations by 2035.
