Technal, a leading manufacturer of aluminum building systems under a brand of Norsk Hydro, based in Toulouse, France, is facing soaring aluminum prices but remains optimistic about the future outlook.

The LME aluminum price has suffered a surge since last year, mainly due to strong economic recovery after the COVID-19 epidemic and the mid-2021 coup in Guinea, a major global bauxite producer.

Besides, the increased price also has a tie with the Russia-Ukraine war as Russia is the world's second-largest aluminum producer after China.

Technal is also working on recycled aluminum, which prevented the company from being affected by the price hikes last year.
