Recently, the stainless steel materials for highway guardrails (SB level) jointly developed by TISCO and Shanxi Transportation Holdings Group have successfully passed the full-scale crash test of a real vehicle, which was the first in China.

According to the research, using TISCO’s stainless steel to produce highway guardrails can increase service life two times than normal carbon steel and will reduce 25% the cost of full life coverage through its corrosion resistance, easy maintenance, and retrievability.
