Turkey's semi-finished steel product imports surge in Apr

According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Turkey imported approximately 510,000 tons of semi-finished steel products in April, which was significantly higher than 110,000 tons in the same period a year ago due to strong demand from steel mills.
Among them, Turkey imported around 205,000 tons from Russia, followed by 151,000 tons from Ukraine, 60,000 tons from Algeria, and 55,000 tons from Oman.
