The UK Secretary of State for International Trade has approved a new anti-dumping (AD) measure recommended by the Trade Remedies Authority (TRA) on aluminum extrusions originating in China.

The TRA launched this investigation based on a request submitted by the UK aluminum extrusion producers, finding that imported goods are being dumped into the UK market at unfair prices and causing injury to domestic producers.

This AD measure came into effect on December 17, 2022, and will be imposed in the form of a tariff at the border.
