Ukraine's bauxite imports down by 9% in Jan-May

According to the statistics released by Ukraine customs, Ukraine imported around 1.95 million tons of bauxite from January to May 2020, down by 9% year on year.

The import value was down by 8.2% year on year to US$85.07 million. Among them, 67.77% was from Guinea, 15.02% was from Guyana, and 8.49% was from Ghana.

In the meantime, 70 tons of bauxite with a total value of US$11,000 was re-exported to Poland, while the figure for last year was 22 tons with a total value of US$1000.
