Ukraine’s bauxite imports plunge in Jan-Apr

According to statistics, Ukraine’s bauxite imports amounted to around 932,900 tons in the first four months of this year, plunging by 47.5% compared to the same period a year earlier. Meanwhile, the import value had a year-on-year drop of 42.3% to US$46.8 million.

During the period, based on the proportion of import costs, the imports from Guinea accounted for 60.58%, and Brazil and Ghana ranked second and third with a proportion of 27.96% and 7.64%, respectively.

In contrast to imports, Ukraine didn’t export bauxite in the January-April period.
