According to Ukrainian customs data, Ukraine's total pipe exports in the first eight months of this year were 329,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 5%. Of this total, seamless pipe exports amounted to 262,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 13%, while welded pipe exports amounted to 67,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 44%.

In August alone, Ukraine's pipe exports reached 21,000 tons, a 19% increase from the previous month. Of this, seamless pipe exports amounted to 12,300 tons, a 40% increase from the previous month, while welded pipe exports amounted to 8,300 tons, remaining unchanged from the previous month.

Ukraine supplies seamless oil pipes and pipelines to the US, primarily for the oil and gas industries. Last year, Ukraine exported 98,000 tons of pipes to the US. However, this year, the impact of the new 50% tariff on steel products imposed by the US on the Ukrainian steel industry could result in a 36% year-on-year decrease in production.
