According to Ukrtruboprom, the Ukrainian association of the tube industry, the country's steel pipe manufacturers reduced production from January to May to around 176,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 16%.

In May alone, Ukraine's steel pipe manufacturers increased output by 2.5 times compared to last month to 45,000 tons.

The new export supply chains through the EU seaport will secure the output increase. Besides that, because of the Russia-Ukraine war, the US suspended the 25% tariff on Ukraine for one year. As a result, Centravis in Ukraine, a global seamless stainless steel tube manufacturer, decided to increase the supply to the US.
