Ulbrich Stainless Steels & Special Metals Inc. has announced the addition of a 20-high rolling mill at its Wallingford, Conn., location. The facility cold-rolls precision strip and foil for more than 160 alloys of stainless steels and special metals.
The mill handles a variety of thicknesses. It features an automatic gauge control and shape control system to monitor real-time variations of thickness and flatness throughout the length of each coil that is rolled.
