According to statistics from the US Census Bureau, under the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US imported approximately 41,300 tons of cut-to-length (CTL) plates in June, an increase of 24% compared to the previous month.
Of these, South Korea was the largest supplier, contributing around 17,800 tons, followed by Canada with about 10,400 tons.
Statistics showed that US’ CTL plate imports hit a peak monthly volume in February this year and then fell in the subsequent months.
