According to preliminary data from the US Census Bureau under the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US imported approximately 117,000 tons of cold-rolled coils (CRC) in March, a 15% increase from the previous month and an 8.4% drop compared to the same month a year earlier.
Among them, Canada led with about 36,000 tons, followed by Mexico with 23,000 tons and Taiwan with 10,000 tons.
The total import value for these products was around US$133 million, up by 25% month on month and by 7.2% year on year.
