On November 1, 2024, the US International Trade Commission (USITC) instituted the third sunset reviews of anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duties (CVD) on welded stainless steel pressure pipes from China, as well as the second sunset review of AD duties on the same products from Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam, to determine whether the cancellation of the existing AD and CVD orders on the subject products would be likely to lead to the continuation or recurrence of material injury to the US industry within a reasonably foreseeable time.

On November 4, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) announced the initiation of the third AD and CVD sunset reviews on the subject products from China, as well as the second AD sunset review on the same products from Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam.

The interested parties should submit their response to this notice with the needed information by the deadline of December 2, 2024, and the comments on the adequacy of responses should be filed by January 2, 2025.
