US’ steel coils exports increase in Nov

According to statistics from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US exported around 37,100 tons of steel coils in November last year, increasing by 5.8% compared to the previous month but falling by 37% from the same month a year ago.

Among them, the exports to Mexico accounted for the largest proportion, totaling roughly 17,700 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 13.8% and a year-on-year drop of 47.3%. Canada ranked second with around 11,000 tons, and the exports to other countries were not so many.

The export value was approximately US$31 million during the period, up by 3.7% month on month and down by 37.5% year on year.
