US’ structural pipe exports grow in Jan

According to statistics from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US exported around 9,100 tons of structural pipes in January this year, rising by nearly 28% compared to the previous month but dropping by 10.4% from the same month a year ago.

Among them, the exports to Canada accounted for the largest proportion, totaling around 5,000 tons, a month-on-month increase of 16.4% and a year-on-year drop of 30.9%. Mexico ranked second with roughly 3,600 tons, and the exports to other export destinations were less than 1,000 tons.

During the period, the export value totaled approximately US$18 million, up by 15.8% month on month and 11.6% year on year.
