Vedanta seeking investment for Kalahandi alumina refinery’s expansion

Anil Agarwal, the chairman of the Vedanta Group, is seeking cooperation and investment from Indian investors for the continued development and expansion of its alumina refinery in Kalahandi district, Odisha.

The Kalahandi alumina refinery started operation in 2007, with an annual production capacity of 2 million tons.

The expansion of this alumina refinery would mark a turning point in the region's industrial development.
