Vietnam’s Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Corporation (FHS) announced its domestic price for April yesterday (February 14). Due to the high iron ore and coal prices and low inventory from downstream customers, FHS decided to increase its hot-rolled coil (HRC) price by US$90/ton and wire rod prices by US$40/ton, with delivery in the March/April period.

After adjustment, FHS' HRC price reached US$840~850/ton. It was expected that the deal price will remain strong and stable in the next half of February.
