Walsin Lihwa, one of Taiwan’s leading stainless steel wire rod manufacturers, announced today that it will maintain its prices for 304 stainless steel wire rods in November.
The company also decided to keep the surcharge for 316L products unchanged, while prices for the 200-series and 400-series stainless steel will remain flat as well.
According to Walsin Lihwa, the slight increase in raw material costs and the depreciation of the New Taiwan dollar have put pressure on production costs. However, the company opted to hold prices steady in order to stay competitive and support its downstream customers.
