Yieh Hsing Enterprise Co., Ltd., one of the major wire rod manufacturers in Taiwan, decided to set up a pickling line at the Pingnan factory and announced that the board of directors approved an investment of NT$313.6 million in purchasing equipment for pickling, quality inspection, and packaging.

At present, the Pingnan factory has started to arrange the production line.

There were market rumors that the expansion would lead to a reduction in the supply of the production of stainless steel wire rods. Yieh Hsing clarified that the supply has not been reduced, and only the supply of some sizes of stainless steel wire rods has been adjusted. Orders would be centralized for unified production. The delivery date might be extended to the next month, but it was not a reduction in production.

This equipment purchase includes a pickling line worth US$7.4 million and a quality inspection and packaging line worth US$2.4 million, which are used to optimize the consistent operation of stainless steel wire rods.
