Yieh Phui Enterprise Co., Ltd. (Yieh Phui), a leading coating steel mill in Taiwan, announced a consolidated after-tax net loss for the first quarter of this year, reaching nearly NT$393 million, or a loss per share of NT$0.16.

Despite healthy sales of its main galvanized and pre-painted steel products, the company posted a consolidated operating profit of NT$359 million. However, significant losses from failed investments led to a pre-tax loss of NT$399.7 million, ultimately resulting in the net loss.
