Alba secures aluminum supply chain through tri-party deal

Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) established a three-way partnership with global aluminum manufacturer Shandong Innovation Group and investment company BlueFive Capital during Gateway Gulf 2025.
The memorandum of understanding (MoU) initiates a joint goal to optimize the global aluminum supply chain, spanning from upstream smelting to high-value downstream products.
Alba CEO Ali Al Baqali said that this alliance provides a mechanism to pursue upstream investment opportunities outside Bahrain, securing the company's raw material flow and expanding its international reach. The goal is to maintain Alba's leadership and reinforce Bahrain's industrial sector.
The framework will explore mutual interests, including joint investments and knowledge sharing.
