Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), the world's largest aluminum smelter ex-China, reported that the company’s aluminum production reached around 1.62 million tons in 2023, which increased by 1.3% compared to the previous year, hitting a record high.

Alba again broke its record in aluminum production. The company produced 1.6 million tons of aluminum in 2022, a year-on-year hike of 2.5%, higher than the 1.56 million tons record in 2021.

Alba said in the third quarter of last year that providing stable performance will be the company’s top priority for next quarter amid the uncertain macroeconomic outlook.
