Australia issues final determination in third AD & CVD sunset review on China's aluminum extrusions

On October 16, 2026, Australia’s Anti-Dumping Commission made final determination for the third sunset review of anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duties (CVD) on aluminum extrusions from China. It decided to keep the AD and CVD measure on the subject products, effective on October 29, 2025.

This review investigation was requsted by the domestic business Capral Limited.

The range of the duty rate is from 0.8%-29.4%. The rate for Goomax Metal Co., Ltd. is 5.6%, while Guangdong Jinxiecheng Al. Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is 0.8%. Press Metal International Ltd. is 18.1% while Guangdong Xingfa Aluminium Co., Ltd. is 4.5%. For residual exporters, the duty rate is 1.7%, while the uncooperative or noncooperative and all other exporters are 29.4%.

The HS code for the subject products are 7604.10.00.06, 7604.21.00.07, 7604.21.00.08, 7604.29.00.09, 7604.29.00.10, 7608.10.00.09, 7608.20.00.10, 7610.10.00.12, and 7610.90.00.13.
