Chalco’s net income increases in 2023

The annual report released by Aluminum Corporation of China (Chalco) showed that its operating income in 2023 reached CNY 225.071 billion, decreasing by 22.65% year on year. Meanwhile, the net income amounted to CNY 6.717 billion, soaring by 60.23% year on year.
In 2023, decline of the global economy, monetary tightening policies, and banking crisis in the US and Europe put commodities under pressure. For the same reason, the global aluminum industry also experienced an unstable situation.
