Germany’s crude steel output fall in Jul

According to statistics released by the German Steel Federation (WV Stahl), Germany’s crude steel output totaled 2.27 million tons in July, dropping by 13.7% year on year.

During the first seven months, the country’s crude steel production amounted to 19.8 million tons, down by 12.1% year on year.

Meanwhile, the country’s production of hot rolled steel products totaled 2.5 million tons in July, falling by 4.9% year on year. In the first seven months of this year, the country’s hot rolled steel output amounted to 17.74 million tons, decreasing by 7.8% year on year.
