Outokumpu raises alloy surcharges of stainless steel flat products for Sep

Outokumpu, a leading stainless steel manufacturer in Europe based in Finland, announced its new alloy surcharges of stainless steel flat products for September for its European customers.

According to the adjustment, the surcharge of 304 (EN 1.4301) is EUR 2,192/ton, up by EUR 48/ton; that of 316L (EN 1.4404) is EUR 3,725/ton, rising by EUR 112/ton; that of 430 (EN 1.4016) is EUR 1,149/ton, up by EUR 10/ton; all were compared to the previous month.

The company said that the surcharge adjustment is due to a combination of improving market demand and higher raw material costs.
