Kaiser Aluminum, a US-based aluminum producer, reported a year-on-year surge of 520% in its net income for the third quarter of 2025, coupled with a 12.8% growth in net sales.

President and CEO Keith A. Harvey credited improved business fundamentals for the strong results, leading to an upward revision to the company's full-year adjusted EBITDA outlook for 2025.

The Packaging business unit had conversion revenue of US$9 million, a year-on-year increase of 7%, despite a 5% drop in volume. This favorable result reflected a product mix shift to coated products and improved pricing.

Kaiser said that North American demand for aluminum packaging currently exceeds supply, expecting 12% to 15% conversion revenue growth for the Packaging unit in 2025.
