Li Auto's first self-developed high-strength stainless steel coil rolled off the production line at Tsingtuo Group on December 12. Compared with traditional stainless steel, this new product has been significantly improved in terms of strength and corrosion resistance.

Li Auto also signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Tsingtuo Group to establish a joint innovation platform, aiming to further enhance its research and development capabilities in new materials.

It is understood that Li Auto’s L series uses high-pressure stainless steel fuel tanks. The application of this material in high-pressure fuel tanks can greatly increase the safety performance of the fuel tank under extreme working conditions.

Head of Li Auto's range extension system said that the company's range extension system has always attached great importance to safety and will continue to cooperate with Tsingtuo Group in the future to jointly develop more leading stainless steel materials. The application of new materials will help Li Auto provide consumers with safer new energy vehicles.
