Ukrainian flat steel product exports grow in Jan-Nov

According to the Ukrainian steelmakers' association Ukrmetallurgprom, Ukraine exported approximately 1.5 million tons of flat steel products from January to November 2024, growing by 49% from the same period a year ago. The export volume of semi-finished steel was about 1.8 million tons, soaring by 62.4% yearly. The exports of section steel reached around 571,000 tons, rising by 9.4% year on year.
In the first eleven months of 2024, Ukraine's main export markets were the EU 27 countries (accounting for 70.3%), Africa (10.5%), and other European countries (8.1%).
