LME aluminium benchmark price expands by US$34.5/t; SHFE price ascends to US$2,655/t

LME aluminium opened at US$2253 per tonne on Monday, with its low and high at US$2243 per tonne and US$2295 per tonne respectively before closing at US$2286 per tonne, up US$33 per tonne or 1.42 per cent.

On Monday, November 6, both LME aluminium cash bid price and LME aluminium official settlement price surged by US$34.5 per tonne or 1.55 per cent to clock at US$2,253.50 per tonne and US$2,254 per tonne.

As per the London Metal Exchange (LME) data, both 3-month bid price and 3-month offer price hiked by US$37 per tonne or 1.65 per cent to peg at US$2,278 per tonne and US$2,279 per tonne. December 24 bid price and December 24 offer price ascended by US$29 per tonne to rest at US$2,382 per tonne and US$2,387 per tonne.

LME aluminium opening stock settled at 466700 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants rested at 203800 tonnes and 262900 tonnes. LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price grew by US$19.21 per tonne or 0.85 per cent to settle at US$2,259 per tonne.
