Patra Brewery, located in Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia is now facing a shortage of aluminum can packaging due to the impact of sanctions.

Deputy Governor Dmitry Ionin began to discuss the possibility of local language production with potential investors, saying that the aluminum can packaging production base would be built as soon as possible with the government’s support.

Patra Brewery, part of the Heineken Group, has an annual production capacity of 320 million liters and produces 16 brands of beer. The brewery contributed 5.5 billion rubles to Sverdlovsk Oblast per year, and it has now realized 90% of its raw materials in local languages.
