On May 29, 2025, the US International Trade Commission (USITC) voted and made an affirmative final determination of the first anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) on China’s aluminum wire and cable, ruling that the revocation of the existing AD and CVD measures on the subject goods from China would likely lead to the continuation or recurrence of material injury to the US industry within a reasonably foreseeable time.

Due to the USITC’s affirmative determinations, the existing AD and CVD orders on imports of these products from China will continue to be effective.
