US’ primary aluminum production rises in May

According to statistics from the US Census Bureau, the US produced 57,000 tons of primary aluminum in May this year, rising by 3.64% compared to 55,000 tons in the previous month and falling by 12.3% compared to 65,000 tons in the same month a year ago.
In May, the daily average output of primary aluminum in the US was 1,840 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 0.5% and a year-on-year decline of 12%.
