US sets final dumping margin for India’s welded stainless pressure pipes

The US Department of Commerce (USDOC) has finally determined for its anti-dumping (AD) duty review on welded stainless pressure pipes from India, ruling that Suncity Metals and Tubes Private Limited (Suncity Metals), the only producer/exporter under the review, sold the subject goods at less than normal value during the period of review from November 1, 2022, to October 31, 2023.
As a result, the USDOC assigned a final weighted average dumping margin of 21.77% to Suncity Metals. This rate is significantly lower than the 56.39% in the preliminary finding confirmed in December 2024 for the company.
