Vedanta, a mining company in India, reported that its aluminum production totaled 565,000 tons in the April-June quarter of the current fiscal year, up by 2.9% compared to the corresponding period a year ago.

During the period, the output of saleable iron ore in Karnataka dropped by 14% year on year to 1.26 million tons as heavy rainfall affected ore handling.

Meanwhile, the company’s saleable steel production amounted to 289,000 tons, a year-on-year drop of 7%.
