On September 23, 2024, the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) of Vietnam made an affirmative final determination of the first sunset review of anti-dumping (AD) on some aluminum products originating in China, deciding to maintain the existing AD measure at a duty rate ranging from 2.85% to 35.58%.

The decision was made due to a potential injury that may occur without the AD measure imposed.

This measure will be effective on October 3, 2024, valid for five years, until October 2, 2029.

The subject products are classified under HS codes 7604.10.10, 7604.10.90, 7604.21.90, 7604.29.10, and 7604.29.90.

The initial AD measure was introduced in 2019.
