According to statistics from the General Administration of Customs of China, China’s exports of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products amounted to around 6.7 million tons in 2024, growing by 17.4% compared to last year.
Meanwhile, imports of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products reached 3.8 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 22.5%.
In December alone, exports of these products totaled 510,000 tons, up by 3.1% year on year. However, imports fell to 300,000 tons, a year-on-year drop of 8.6%.
