After deciding to leave the Russian market in March 2022 due to Russia’s conflict with Ukraine, Ball Corporation, a provider of metal packaging in the US, announced that it has completed the sale of its beverage packaging business in Russia for US$530 million to Russia’s Arnest Group.

Arnest Group has now acquired all of Ball's business in Russia. The sale was expected not to affect Ball's business outside Russia.

Arnest is a large manufacturer of aerosol packaging for perfumes, cosmetics, and household products in Russia.
